Dewatering Screw Press
Instacon Dewatering Screw press machine is a cost-effective and environmentally friendly sludge dewatering equipment. It represents a novel approach to sludge extrusion dewatering, utilizing the principles of screw extrusion. This process relies on the powerful squeezing force generated through the alteration of screw diameter and pitch, as well as the utilization of tiny gaps in the mechanism. The system comprises a concentration section at the front end and a dehydration section at the back end. The filter gap, positioned between the fixed ring and the moving ring, along with the screw shaft pitch, progressively reduces from the thickening part to the dehydrating part. The rotation of the screw shaft propels the sludge from the thickening to the dehydration section, simultaneously prompting the movement of the swimming ring to clear the filter joints and prevent clogging. Following gravitational concentration in the thickening section, the sludge is transported to the dewatering part. During advancement, as the filter gap and screw pitch decrease, coupled with the influence of the pressed plate, substantial internal pressure builds up, causing the volume to steadily diminish. This process aims to achieve complete dehydration.
